How It Feels (1996)
A disturbing 22-minute film where Emin describes the horror, pain and emotional devastation of an abortion that went wrong: comes with the warning: “This room can be disorientating”.
Hotel International (1993)
Emin’s first quilt work, an appliquéd blanket named after the Margate hotel where she was brought up with her twin brother Paul. A highly autobiographical work depicting her often traumatic childhood.
